The Journey...

Jodie of Austin, Texas flew up to Seattle, Washington to stay with friends and then met Will to travel down and back to Black Rock City in the getaway van.

They headed East on I-90 then went South through Yakima WA, Mono, OR to overnight at Summer Lake Hot Springs Oregon. A few more hundreds of miles got them to Reno Nevada where Sarah and friends provided them shelter and much goodly hospitality.

At the Reno airport Texan sister Kerry was taken on, for the short and beautiful ride to the black rock desert playa (dried lake bed ) festival site near Gerlach, NV.

The trio camped with eighty or so others at the heebeegeebee healers amidst the city of 35,000 where they helped serve in the healing tent, the smart bar, the kitchen, and generally out and about.

In its third year of tape distribution, another record year was had by tape town, perhaps because of the busy street location at the popular HBGBs, all the fun tape was gone by the third day of operation.
